When you go on an inspection, document deviations, or preform quality controls in Next Field (CHECKD), you can log Items (tasks). This can be done with or without attaching them to drawings/blueprints, and you can also create Items directly from the digital checklists that you use.

It it required to give your Items a title. In addition to a title, you can add a description, take photos, add a due-date, and add tags. An 'Item' can be delegated to an employee/person, and all the communication, pictures and documentation will be saved in that specific Item that they are working on.

Below we have listed five distinct color codes that is associated with the status and progression of an 'Item'.

  • Grey = Open. The 'Item' has been created, but has not been assigned to anyone yet.

  • Red = Delegated. The 'Item' has been assigned to a person that is a part of the project, but the receiver has not accepted the task yet.

  • Yellow = In Progress. The 'Item' has now been accepted by the person that has received it. This indicates that the person has started working on the 'Item'.

  • Blue = Fixed. When the person that is working on an 'Item' mark the 'Item' as 'Fixed', the status of that 'Item' will also be changed to 'Fixed'. When an item is blue, it is up to the person whom delegated the item to approve or reject the fix.

  • Green = Closed. When a fix gets approved the 'Item' will change status to 'Closed'. The Item will disappear, but to see them again you can enable 'Closed' items with the filter function in the 'Item' section.
