Sometimes you need to log an observation or create a task, but the observation or task is intended to be tied to a specific drawing or location. Or maybe you don't have the blueprints/drawings/images available, hence not uploaded it to your project yet. Whichever reason there is, you may create 'Items' (tasks) without attaching them to a drawing/location.
To create an item that is not attached to a drawing/location, you may follow these steps:
Log in to the Next Field (CHECKD) app and open the project you have in mind.
Click on the plus (+) icon
Choose 'Create item'
Type in the information you wish to register, (title, description, tags, pictures, due date), but do not choose a 'location'.
Assign the 'Item' to a project member right away if desired (can be done later).
'Save' the 'Item' when you are done.
