Creating a Photo Shoot

How Can I Create A Photo Shoot?
You can create a Photo Shoot while in the ‘Calendar’ tab, by clicking the black ‘+New Photo Shoot’ button.


Pick A Cover Image and Name Your Photo Shoot
To start, upload a cover image that you feel represents your Photo Shoot (this is optional, you don't have to upload anything!), and name your Photo Shoot.


Choose the Type of Photo Shoot
Currently our services are geared toward Portrait and Wedding/Event Photography!

Types of Portraits:

You can choose one of the following Portrait sub-categories for your Photo Shoot:

  • High School Senior Portraits

  • Individual Portraits (Ex: Headshots)

  • Couples Portraits (Ex: Engagement / Anniversary Photos)

  • Family Portraits

Types of Events:

You can choose one of the following Event sub-categories for your Photo Shoot:

  • Weddings

  • Birthdays


Location, Date, and Time
From there, you can choose the location, date, and time you’d like the Photo Shoot to take place.


Create Your Photo Shoot
Don’t forget to check the box on the bottom, to make this Photo Shoot visible on the 'Photographer Search Page'! This will help Photographers near you find your Photo Shoot! To create your Photo Shoot, simply click ‘Create Photo Shoot’!

Where Can I Find My Photo Shoot?

After you've finished making your Photo Shoot, you'll be taken back to the 'Calendar' page, and you'll see your newly created Photo Shoot under 'Active'.


Photo Shoot Details
If you click on the Photo Shoot, at the bottom, you'll see the following 'Photo Shoot Details':

  • Search Photographers - Search from available Photographers to photograph your Photo Shoot!

  • View Shot List - Once you book a Photographer, you'll collaborate with them to create a Shot List of important moments throughout your Photo Shoot you want to be sure they capture!

  • View Weather - Check the forecast leading up to your Photo Shoot!

  • Invite Coordinator - (Optional) You can invite a Coordinator you're working with to help with your photo shoot if needed.

  • View Gallery - Available after the photographer has delivered your images!
