Why Do I Need To Go Through a Background Verification To Use Cheezoo?
We require that all phone photographers go through background verifications to provide a safe experience for all using the Cheezoo platform! For these background verifications, we use a service called Checkr - you can learn more about them here. An average background verification will be completed within 3-5 business days.

How Do I Start My Background Verification?

You can start your background verification by going to the 'Settings' tab in the bottom right corner, and clicking 'Profile'. From there, scroll down the page until you see the 'Start Verification' button.

You'll then be redirected to Checkr's website to begin the background verification.

Gather Your Information

You'll need your to provide your full name, address, and social security number to complete the process. Be sure to give yourself enough time to complete the background verification, as it cannot be paused once you start - though it's not a very long process!

After Submitting Information for Background Verification

If Checkr needs any further information, they'll be sure to contact you right away!

Background Verification In Progress

Your profile will also update to show you that your background verification is in progress.

Background Verification Complete

Once your background verification has been completed, you'll receive an email to notify you! You'll also see the status on your profile change to 'verified'!
