All Chexy users are required to verify their identity during onboarding using our 3rd party verification system, Plaid. Some users may be required to upload a picture of a piece of valid government-issued ID and a selfie. Plaid currently accepts the following forms of Identification only;

- Valid Canadian Driver's License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
- Canadian-issued Identification Card
- Canadian passport
- Canadian Residency Permit Card

We are aware this limitation prohibits a subset of our users, particularly users with international documentation, from using our platform and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please rest assured we are working hard to be able to change this as soon as possible.
