Where do I find my referral code?
Your unique referral code can be found on your Chexy dashboard, under the referrals tab.
Note: Only active users have a referral code
How do I refer?
Referring to friends and family is easy:
Log in to your Chexy account and visit https://app.chexy.co/referrals to get your unique referral code.
Copy your link or directly share your referral code with friends and family.
Once your referral has successfully activated their Chexy account, you’ll both get the standard referral incentives of $15 each, and you as the referee will get an additional point on the leaderboard.
What are the prizes and value of each (if applicable)?
The giveaway prizes are as follows:
First place prize: A month of free rent (up to $2,000)
Second place prize: A year of Chexy fees waived
Third place prize: $100 in Rent Cashback
Fourth place prize: $50 in Rent Cashback
Fifth place prize: $25 in Rent Cashback
The value of the giveaway is up to $2,000 CAD.
If my rent is more than $2,000, will Chexy cover the entire cost (regarding the first-place prize)?
We will cover only up to $2,000 of your rent. Any amount beyond that will be the responsibility of the recipient.
If my rent is less than $2,000, will I receive what’s left over?
No, if your rent is less than $2,000 your next rent payment will be covered by Chexy with no amount leftover.
When will the prizes be applied?
All prizes will be applied to your next rent charge date after October 1st, 2024.
What counts as a successful referral?
A successful referral involves first-time users of Chexy who activate their account using your referral code before September 30th, 2024, 11:59 pm.
Successful referrals must have fully completed their onboarding process and be set up to pay their next rent payment through Chexy. Referred users must ensure their accounts remain active. If the account is paused, the referral count will go down, resulting in leaderboard points decreasing.
Note: No exceptions will be made for users who fail to activate before this deadline.
What occurs if there's a tie in the giveaway (for any prizes)?
In the event of a tie, the total prize amount ($2,000) will be evenly divided among the winners.
Note: all prizes, regardless of their monetary value or fee waivers, will be split equally among the tied participants.
Remember: The more referrals you make, the higher your chances of winning a month of free rent!
