Goal: reliable power and ignition-aware behavior (auto-on, Parking Monitor, 4G Live on LTE models).
Wires: Red = Battery +, Black = Battery − (Ground), Yellow = ACC/Ignition sense.
What each wire does
Red (B+): permanent +12 V from the battery (use a 2–3 A inline fuse near the battery).
Black (GND): battery negative or a clean chassis ground.
Yellow (ACC): switched +12 V that turns on with ignition and off with key.
How it works: Red/Black provide main power; Yellow tells the display when the bike is “ON.” Correct ACC enables proper wake/sleep and features like Parking Monitor / Anti-Theft Alerts (AIO-6 LTE) / 4G Live auto-wake (AIO-6 LTE).
Common mistakes & symptoms
ACC not connected or wrong line
Symptoms: no auto-wake when parked, 4G Live only while riding, bike state shows OFF.
Fix: move Yellow to a true ignition-switched source.
ACC on constant power
Symptoms: device stays awake or wakes randomly, battery may drain when parked.
Fix: relocate Yellow to a switched circuit.
Red/Yellow swapped
Symptoms: erratic behavior; Parking Monitor/4G Live inconsistent.
Fix: Red → battery +, Yellow → switched +12 V.
Poor ground or no fuse
Symptoms: random reboots, touch noise, update failures.
Fix: clean ground; add a 2–3 A fuse on Red near the battery.
Third-party power managers (HEX ezCAN / Denali CANsmart / Thunderbox)
Symptoms: channel set to always-on or long off-delay → device stays powered after key-off.
Fix: configure channel to ignition-switched with short off-delay.
How to find a proper ACC source
Method A — Fuse box (preferred)
Multimeter to DC V; black probe to battery −.
Ignition ON: probe for ~12 V.
Ignition OFF: correct ACC line drops to 0 V.
Use an add-a-fuse/tap for Yellow.
Method B — Tail-light harness (no fuse box)
Access tail-light wiring under seat/rear cover.
Identify wire with +12 V ON and 0 V OFF.
Tap that line for Yellow.
Keep Red on battery + (fused) and Black on battery − regardless of where you pick ACC.

Quick verification
Key ON: display powers and shows ON state.
