Note: Setting up point dishes is complicated. It is recommended that you contact Chowbus customer support for assistance to avoid affecting your operations.
Step 1
Tap [Menu] → [Menu Management] in the upper right corner of the POS APP.
Step 2
Select the [Categories] tab at the top, then tap [Create New Category].
Enter the basic information for the new category and turn on the [Is Point Category] toggle.
Important notes on point categories:
The point dish function only takes effect when [Is Point Category] is turned on.
If you turn this toggle ON for a regular category, customers will be required to redeem dishes using reward points only — they will not be able to pay with money.
Therefore, point dishes must be placed in a separate category with this toggle ON. Normal dishes and point dishes cannot coexist in the same category.
If you accidentally turn ON the toggle for a normal category, simply turning it OFF will not convert the dishes back from point dishes to normal dishes. You will need to delete them and recreate them.
Step 3
Tap the [Menu Setup] tab. Find the dish you want to set points for, and tap to enter the dish information editing interface. Add the dish to the point category by adjusting its category and menu, and fill in the original price and point price.
