The most efficient way to update your student data is via ChromeHero's SFTP or FTP server
On the menu sidebar, select the FTP option. If not shown, you will need to contact your Account Owner to enable permissions.
To view your password, click the Show Password button
Click Copy to Clipboard button to copy password which will be required in your SFTP client or Student Information System
You may also manually enter a password. Must contain the following:
● Minimum characters: 10
● Maximum characters: 25
● Include at least 1 Symbol
● Include at least 1 Number
● Include at least 1 Lowercase Character
● Include at least 1 Uppercase Character
FTP & SFTP sync credentials.
Use the chart in ChromeHero for domain and port #s
Use SFTP whenever possible.
You may also use any Student Information System or free, third party client like WINSCP or FileZilla
USE CSV FILE ONLY and label it students.csv
Place the students.csv file in the sync_files
Wait time is approximately 10 minutes for file to upload to ChromeHero
In ChromeHero you may monitor the sync logs on the bottom of FTP page. You may also download any errors to be corrected. Click on the date to view the entire log.
