You can track when employees call out and run reports on it

Here's a simple way to track and report on when employees call out.

How to Track Employee Call-outs

  • Create a new job called Call Outs.

  • When someone calls out, go to Payroll Functions, Edit Time Cards, select the employee, and add new time card. In the IN and Out boxes, select the Call Out job, the day and the In and Out times should be the same. The example below is 5:00 am for both. Then save.

  • You'll see a 0-minute time card created.

  • Go to Reports, by job, Job Activity Detail. Change the dates and select the Call Out job from the drop-down list. You'll see all the call-outs in that time frame.

  • You can also track call-outs by employee. Go to Reports, by employee, Employee Activity Detail. Select the employee and the Call-Out job from the top filters.

And that's it! An easy way to track call-outs.
