Steps to Change Speaker Preferences
Access the Settings Menu:
From your dashboard, click on the Settings tab located on the main navigation menu.
In the settings, select Organization to access the organizational preferences.
Modify Speaker Preferences:
Scroll down to the Preferences section.
Here, you can set how the platform refers to your speakers during content generation:
Default Title: The default setting is "Pastor." You can change this to "Reverend," "Dean," or any title appropriate for your organization.
First Name or Last Name: You can also choose whether to include the speaker’s first name (e.g., Dean Sam) or last name (e.g., Dean Jones). Toggle the option based on what you prefer to display.
Save Your Preferences:
After adjusting the speaker title and name preferences, click Update Organizational Preferences.
All future content generated on the platform will now follow these new settings, reflecting the updated speaker titles and names.
Additional Tips:
If you prefer not to use a title at all, you can toggle off both name options. The platform will simply refer to speakers by their names (e.g., "John said" or "Sarah said") without a formal title.
By setting these preferences, you'll minimize the need to manually edit generated content such as sermon summaries, discussion questions, and pages.
Why This Feature is Useful:
Consistency Across Content: When you update speaker preferences, Church.Tech automatically uses those settings across all generated content, ensuring a consistent look and feel.
Reduced Editing: By predefining how speakers are addressed, you won’t need to make as many manual changes when summaries or discussion guides are generated.
Easy Adjustments: These preferences can be quickly changed at any time, allowing flexibility for different types of services or speakers.
By following these steps, you'll streamline how Church.Tech refers to speakers in all your content. This ensures consistent, professional communication with your congregation without the hassle of constant editing.
