🎥 Watch this 1 min video or dive into the step-by-step below.

Accessing Page Analytics

  1. Go to the Pages Section
From your Church.Tech dashboard, click on the Pages tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to a list of all the pages you’ve created.

  2. Open the Analytics for a Page
Find the page you want to view analytics for. Look for the icon with three bars (analytics icon) next to the page title. Click on this icon to enter the analytics dashboard for that specific page.

Key Metrics Explained

Once you’ve opened the analytics view, you’ll find several key metrics that provide valuable insights into how your content is performing.

1. Page Views

  • What it means: This is the total number of times your page has been viewed.

  • Why it matters: It shows how many people have accessed your page. A higher number of views indicates strong interest or engagement.

2. Average Time on Page

  • What it means: This metric shows the average amount of time users are spending on your page.

  • Why it matters: If people spend a lot of time on your page, it suggests they’re engaging with the content. If the average time is short, it might indicate that visitors aren’t finding the information useful or relevant.

4. Link Clicks

  • What it means: This tells you how many times users clicked on links within your page.

  • Why it matters: Link clicks are a great indicator of how interactive your content is. If you’ve included calls-to-action, such as links to resources or registration forms, this metric shows whether users are engaging with those links.

Tracking Engagement Over Time

Church.Tech also allows you to track how engagement changes over time, which can be useful for understanding trends.

  • Daily Analytics: View how many page views, link clicks, and registrations happened on specific days, such as today, yesterday, or the day before.

  • Link Clicks Over Time: This allows you to track the performance of your links over a period of time. You can see whether link engagement is increasing, decreasing, or staying steady.

Why Page Analytics Matter

The data provided by Church.Tech’s Page analytics is crucial for understanding the success of your content. Here’s why:

  • Determine Content Effectiveness: Use page views and average time on page to see if your audience finds your content helpful and engaging.

  • Measure User Engagement: Link clicks and registrations help you see if users are taking the next steps after reading your content.

  • Improve Future Content: By analyzing the data, you can adjust your future content to better meet the needs of your audience.
