Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to the Link Section
When uploading a video on Church.tech, go to the Link section.
Click the drop-down menu and select Resi (Beta) at the bottom.
Understanding the Beta Feature
A message will appear explaining that Resi uploads are currently in beta testing.
This new feature allows you to upload sermon videos from Resi without needing to manually download and re-upload them.
Creating Your Resi Download Link
To use this feature, you will need to generate a download link from your Resi library.
If you’re unsure how to create a Resi download link, click the highlighted article provided within the upload section for guidance.
Pasting Your Resi Download Link
Once you have your Resi download link, paste it into the designated field.
You will see a preview window, but note that Resi does not allow video previews within Church.tech.
Setting Your Start and End Times
Since a preview is unavailable, you’ll need to determine your sermon’s start and end times within Resi.
Enter the start and end times manually in the provided fields (e.g., from 30:00 to 50:00 minutes).
Adding Sermon Details
Fill in the sermon details, including:
Sermon Name
Series Name
Any other relevant context
Processing Your Upload
Click Download Video to begin processing your upload.
This eliminates the need to manually download from Resi and re-upload to Church.tech.
Why Use This Feature?
Saves Time: No need to download and re-upload videos.
Simplifies the Process: Avoids the extra step of running the file through third-party services like Handbrake to remove Resi’s extra encoding.
More Efficient Workflow: Allows for faster sermon uploads with fewer manual actions.
By using the Resi download link feature, you can streamline your sermon upload process and focus more on ministry. Since this is a beta feature, we welcome your feedback as we continue refining it to best meet your needs!
