Using the Upgraded Clips Editor in Church.Tech
We’ve radically improved Clips inside Church.Tech with a new editor built in partnership with Minvo—and it's already included in your plan. Here's how to go from sermon upload to shareable, branded video clips in just a few steps.

1. 📤 Upload Your Sermon Video
Start by uploading your sermon into Church.Tech. You can do this from:
YouTube
Google Drive
Dropbox
A local file (.MP4, .MOV)
✅ Note: Local files tend to be the most stable, especially for large or high-resolution uploads.
Once your video is uploaded and processed, you’re ready to create clips.
2. ⚡ Generate Clips
On the overview page, click “Create Clips" or on the Clip tab click "✨Generate Clips"
Clips will begin pulling in right away—no more waiting around for the transcript to process.
You’ll see your clips begin to generate and can watch the process unfold.
💬 Still want to use Opus? It’s there too if needed.
3. ✏️ Edit and Customize Clips
Click into a clip to open the Timeline Editor. From here, you can:
Zoom and reframe using face tracking
Edit captions word by word directly on the screen
Use safe zone guides to preview how your clips will look on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
Add emojis, music, and visual animations
Use tools like “Enhance Intro” and “Studio Audio” to give your content polish
Want to tweak the start or end? Use the Extend tool to quickly grab more context from your message.
4. 🎨 Match Your Church’s Look
Upload your logo
Choose your font styles and brand colors
Save your layout as a Preset
Add optional intro/outro videos for a fully branded experience
🔁 Once saved, you can apply your Preset to every new clip with one click—and even set it as your default.
5. 💬 Send for Review (SMS)
Need your pastor to approve a clip before posting?
Click “Send via SMS” from within the editor. The recipient gets a direct link to watch the clip—no login required.
🚀 It’s the fastest way to get feedback before publishing.
6. 📲 Share or Schedule Social Posts
Once your clip is ready, you can:
Download it
Schedule a post directly to your social media
Let CHURCH.tech write your caption using custom church-friendly prompts
Generate hashtags
Select an optimized time for publishing (we’ll suggest one)
📅 You can post right away or schedule it for later—it’s built to be flexible.
7. 🧠 Choose the Best Clips
You don’t need to use every auto-generated clip.
Most churches find that sharing 1–3 per week is the perfect rhythm for engagement. Focus on the clips that reflect the heart of your message or highlight a powerful moment from your sermon.

Each clip comes with:
A full transcript you can review or edit
Suggestions for improving clarity, engagement, and reach
Auto-suggested hashtags
