Church.tech offers a wealth of tools to help you take your sermon beyond Sunday, but to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities, it’s crucial to invite your team to join you. By bringing your staff and key volunteers on board, you can multiply the impact of the platform across different areas of your church.

🎥 Watch this 2 min video to learn more from Josh, CEO of CHURCH.tech on why it's so important to invite your team!

Why You Should Invite Your Team

While Church.tech can help you write and refine your sermon, the platform offers so much more for your church beyond sermon preparation. By inviting your staff or volunteers to the platform, you enable them to:

  • Collaborate on Sermon Content: Staff members can help generate content, from small group materials to devotionals, based on your sermon.

  • Maximize Platform Features: With multiple team members involved, you can ensure every tool—such as video clips, blogs, or children’s ministry curriculum—is utilized to its fullest potential.

  • Expand Your Reach: Empowering more people to create and share content amplifies your church’s engagement and reach within your congregation and community.

If only the lead pastor accesses these tools, you’re missing out on the full capacity of what Church.tech can do for your church. By inviting your team, you can delegate and spread the workload, making sure your church is making the most of the platform’s features.

How to Invite Your Team

Inviting your staff or volunteers to join Church.tech is simple:

Step 1: Go to Settings

  • On the left-hand side of your dashboard, click Settings.

Step 2: Access Organization Members

  • Under Settings, click on the Organization tab.

  • Then, click on Members to manage your team.

Step 3: Invite Members

  • Click the Invite Member button.

  • Add their email address and name.

  • Choose their role:

    • Owner: There is only one owner per account, who manages the billing side of things.

    • Admin: Admins have full access to all the platform features. They can upload sermons, generate content, and more. It’s best to invite your staff members as admins to give them full access to help grow your church’s reach.

    • Member: Members have limited access, allowing them to view but not edit or create content. This is ideal for volunteers who need to stay informed but won’t be generating content.

Step 4: Send Invite

  • Once you've entered the details and set their role, click Send Invite.

  • You can add as many team members as you need. Every invite is a step toward empowering your church to fully utilize Church.tech’s tools.

Benefits of Adding Your Team

  • Enhanced Collaboration: Your team can work together to create small group guides, devotionals, and video clips that align with your sermon strategy.

  • Greater Impact: When your staff can actively engage with the platform, they can extend the reach of your sermon and church message throughout the week.

  • Efficiency: Sharing the workload among admins means faster turnaround times for content creation and sharing.

Conclusion

Inviting your team to Church.tech is one of the first and most important steps to fully unlocking the platform’s potential. By giving your staff or volunteers access, you’ll enhance collaboration, streamline content creation, and expand the reach of your ministry.
