What if my membership is not approved?

We review every membership application carefully to keep our community safe, trusted, and aligned with our values. If your membership isn’t approved, here’s what to expect:

👩‍⚖️ Final Decision

If your application is declined, the decision is final and can’t be appealed. We do this to protect the integrity of the Ciao community.

💳 Subscription Cancellation

If your membership isn’t approved, you should cancel your subscription to avoid any charges.

iOS (App Store)

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad

  2. Tap your name at the top

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Select Ciao

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

Tip: If you don’t see Ciao listed, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to subscribe.

Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right

  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

  4. Select Ciao

  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions

Stripe (Website or Telegram)

If you subscribed via our website or Telegram, your subscription was handled by Stripe. You can cancel it by entering the email you used at checkout here:

Note: Refunds for Stripe payments may be issued in line with local laws and at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel a membership without refund if a user has violated our terms or behaved inappropriately within the community.

💸 Requesting a Refund

App Store (iOS)

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID

  2. Find your Ciao purchase under Recent Purchases

  3. Click Report a Problem

  4. Choose I’d like to request a refund and explain that your membership was not approved

  5. Submit the request

Apple usually responds within 48 hours and refunds go back to your original payment method. More info: support.apple.com/billing

Google Play (Android)

  1. Visit play.google.com and sign in

  2. Go to My Subscriptions

  3. Select Ciao and click Request a refund

  4. Follow the prompts and explain that your membership was not approved

Google typically reviews refund requests within 48 hours. More info: support.google.com/googleplay

Stripe (Website or Telegram)

We may issue refunds in line with applicable laws and our discretion. To request one, email us at support@meetciao.com with the email you used at checkout.
