Any Android TV device works. That includes a dedicated Android TV box or a TV / projector with the Android TV OS built in. For the best experience, pick a device with 4 GB of RAM.

What works

  • A standalone Android TV box (e.g. Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box, generic 4 GB Android TV boxes).

  • A TV with Android TV OS built in (e.g. many Sony, Hisense, TCL, Philips models).

  • A projector running Android TV OS.

  • Or a free CicloHub from us — pre-configured and ready to pair.

Minimum recommendation

  • 4 GB RAM — for smooth video playback.

  • An Ethernet port (or stable Wi-Fi) — Ethernet preferred.

  • HDMI output to your studio screen / projector.

  • Latest stable Android TV OS version.

When CicloHub helps

CicloHub is free and ships ready-to-pair. It's worth choosing if you want:

  • A zero-config experience.

  • DMX studio lighting automatically synced to class zones.

  • A device built for studio environments — sits behind the screen, away from sweat and impact.
