In the UK, CicloZone's advanced courses are accredited by CIMSPA, so completing them earns you the CPD points UK instructors need to teach. Outside the UK, recognition varies by country, and CicloZone does not claim accreditation with other national bodies. Everywhere, completing a course gives you an official CicloZone certification showing formal training on the CicloZone methodology and platform.

In the UK

CicloZone's advanced courses (Courses 2 & 3) are accredited by CIMSPA — the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity, the UK industry standard for instructor development.

Because the courses are CIMSPA-accredited, completing them awards CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points. UK instructors need CPD points to teach, so the CicloZone IC Course counts towards keeping your professional standing current.

Internationally

Recognition by other national bodies — such as REPs, EuropeActive or AFAAvaries by country, and CicloZone does not claim accreditation with them. Many countries regulate coaching qualifications through their own state or industry systems.

What you get everywhere is an official CicloZone certification, demonstrating formal training on the CicloZone methodology and platform. Outside the UK, treat it as platform-specific professional training rather than a licence to teach: if your country requires a specific qualification to instruct, you will still need that qualification.

What this means in practice

  • UK instructors: Courses 2 & 3 are CIMSPA-accredited and award CPD points, so they count towards the CPD you need to teach and towards employer expectations.

  • Outside the UK: the CicloZone certification is recognised as platform-specific professional training. Check local regulations if your country requires a specific qualification to teach.
