How does CIRCA5000 choose its Carbon Offset Projects?

We choose independently accredited projects that have reliable methods for measuring how much carbon dioxide they remove.

The projects we select are verified independently by Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard, which were established by the WWF and the UN to ensure that projects which reduce carbon emissions feature the highest levels of environmental integrity and also contribute to sustainable development.

Each project we select is aligned with a number of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals – 17 interlinked goals which seek to end poverty and reduce inequalities, while combating climate change and conserving our natural environment.

We're always on the watch for new projects we can help through our Carbon Offset plans. So the projects can change from time to time.
