To have a CIRCA5000 account you must be a UK resident for tax purposes and have a UK address, but you don't need to be a UK national.
If you're not a UK national, strict regulations require us to ask for further identification from you to open an investment account. This identification differs depending on your nationality, and you'll know which additional identification we need in the app once you've selected your nationality during your signup (examples given below).
Some things to be aware of when selecting your nationality
You should choose 'United Kingdom' as your nationality only if you're eligible for a UK passport.
If you're a US Citizen/National or Dual-US Citizen/National, unfortunately we aren't able to offer you a CIRCA5000 account due to strict US tax laws.
If you have a mix of both European and non-European nationalities please provide your European nationality.
If the additional identification shows CONCAT when you select your non-UK nationality during sign up then you don't need to provide us with anything further.
