What are Tags?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Tags are used within Circolo as a filtering and organisation system.

They help you categorise and quickly find information across different features of the platform.

Where to Find Tags

You can find Tags under the Settings tab on the left-hand sidebar.

From here, you can view and manage all tags across your workspace.

How Tags Work

Each feature or area within Circolo has its own set of tags.

For example:

  • Budget Tags are used within the Budget Overview for line items

  • Other features (such as tasks or run sheets) have their own relevant tag types

This ensures tags remain organised and specific to each part of the platform.

Creating a Tag

You can create tags directly from the Tags section in Settings.

To Create a Tag:

  • Go to Settings > Tags

  • Click “Add Tag”

  • Enter the required details:

    • Title

    • Type (select the relevant feature or category)

  • Click “Create Tag”

Once created, the tag will be available for use in the selected feature.

Creating Tags Within Features

Tags can also be created while you are working inside different features.

This means:

  • You do not need to leave your current workflow

  • You can create tags as needed while adding or editing items

For example, you can create tags while:

  • Adding budget line items

  • Creating tasks

  • Building run sheet items

Using Tags Effectively

Using tags consistently helps keep your workspace organised and easy to navigate.

Tags allow you to:

  • Filter and find information quickly

  • Group similar items together

  • Improve visibility across your events

Keeping Your Workspace Organised

By using tags across Circolo, you can create a structured and efficient workflow.

Keeping your tags clear and consistent ensures your team can easily find and manage information across all features.
