Task Templates

What are Task Templates?

Task Templates allow you to create reusable sets of tasks that can be applied to events.

This helps standardise your workflow and saves time by avoiding the need to recreate the same tasks for each event.

Where to Find Task Templates

You can find Task Templates under the Settings tab in the left-hand sidebar.

From here, you can create and manage all your templates.

Importing and Exporting Templates

You can manage your templates using CSV files.

You can:

  • Import CSV to upload task templates

  • Export CSV to download and share your templates

This allows for easy backup, sharing, and bulk management of templates.

Saving an Existing Task List as a Template

If you have already created a task list for an event that you would like to reuse in the future, you can save the existing tasks as a new Task Template.

To Save a Task List as a Template:

  • Go to the event's Task List

  • Click “More Actions”

  • Select “Save As Template”

  • Enter a Template Name

  • Add a Description (optional)

  • Select the tasks you want to include in the template

At the bottom, you can also choose:

  • Include Assigned Team Members in Template? – Includes the team member assignments from the selected tasks

  • Include Reminders in Template? – Includes the reminder settings from the selected tasks

Once you have selected the tasks and settings you want to include:

  • Click “Save Template”

The saved template will then be available under Settings > Task Templates and can be applied to future events.

This allows you to turn an existing event workflow into a reusable template without having to recreate each task manually.

Using Task Templates Effectively

Task Templates help you maintain consistency across your events.

By using templates, you can:

  • Save time when creating tasks

  • Standardise your event workflows

  • Ensure nothing is missed during planning

Keeping Your Workflow Efficient

By creating and reusing task templates, you can streamline your event planning process and improve team productivity across all events.
