If your event has already been created and published, you can still enable the collection of dietary requirements and guest tags for ticket purchasers.
Dietary requirements allow attendees to provide information such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or other catering needs. Guest tags allow attendees to indicate additional preferences or requirements, such as wheelchair access, VIP status, or other event-specific services.
Once enabled, attendees will be asked to select their dietary requirements and guest tags during the ticket purchase process.
How to Enable Dietary Requirements and Guest Tags
Step 1: Create Dietary Preference Tags
Navigate to the Tags Section
Open the sidebar menu.
Select Tags.
Locate the Dietary Preferences/Guest Tags section.
Add your dietary requirements or guest preferences
Step 2: Open Ticket Management
Navigate to your event.
Select Ticket Management.
Click More Actions.
Select Edit Ticket Management.
Step 3: Enable Collection Settings
Scroll down to the ticket settings section.
You will see the following options:
Collect Dietary Requirements
Collect Guest Tags
Tick both options that you would like to make available to attendees.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Click Save Changes.
Confirm the changes have been saved successfully.
What Happens After Enabling These Options?
Once dietary requirements and guest tags have been enabled:
Attendees purchasing tickets will be prompted to provide their selections during checkout.
Dietary requirements will be captured against the attendee's ticket.
Guest tags will also be recorded against the attendee's ticket purchase.
Event organisers can use this information for catering, accessibility planning, guest services, and event operations.
All of the tags will be recorded against the ticket under Guest Management.
