Attendee Portal (Discover Events)

What is the Attendee Portal?

The Attendee Portal, also known as the Discover Events Portal, is where attendees can browse, purchase, and manage tickets for events created in Circolo.

All public events are displayed on the Discover Events Portal, allowing attendees to search for and purchase tickets.

If an event is set to Private, it will not appear on the Discover Events Portal. Instead, attendees can only access the event using the direct event URL provided by the event organiser.

Browsing Events

When you first visit the Discover Events Portal, you will see a list of available public events.

At the top of the page, you can browse events by category to help narrow your search.

Below the categories, you will find the All Events section, which displays all current public events with tickets available for purchase.

Viewing an Event

Click on any event to open its event page.

The event page displays:

  • Event title

  • Event date and time

  • Event location

  • Presented By (the individual or organisation hosting the event)

  • About the Event description

  • Available ticket tiers

This page provides attendees with all the information they need before purchasing tickets.

Purchasing Tickets

To purchase tickets:

  • Select the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase for each ticket tier

  • If a ticket tier displays "X Remaining" beneath the price, this means the organiser has set a maximum allocation for that ticket tier

  • Click "Buy Tickets"

Before proceeding:

  • Accept the event's Terms and Conditions (set by the event organiser)

  • Complete any additional information requested by the organiser, such as dietary requirements

Click "Go to Checkout"

Enter your details and complete payment to purchase your tickets.

After Purchasing Tickets

Once your purchase has been completed:

  • A confirmation message will appear

  • A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address

You can then click "Go to Tickets" to view your purchased tickets.

Managing Your Tickets

Within My Tickets, you can view all tickets you have purchased.

For each ticket, you can:

  • View the ticket QR code for event entry

  • Add the ticket to Apple Wallet

  • Add the ticket to Google Wallet

  • Resend the confirmation email

This makes it easy to access your tickets on event day.

Additional Ticket Options

Click the three-dot menu on a ticket to access additional options.

Available options include:

  • Resend Confirmation

  • Transfer Ticket

  • Request Refund

Transferring Tickets

If you are unable to attend an event, you can transfer your ticket to another person.

The new ticket holder will receive:

  • An email containing their ticket

  • Access to the ticket within their own Discover account

Assigning Guests

If you purchase more than one ticket in a single order, your own ticket details will automatically be pre-filled using the information entered during checkout.

You will then be prompted to enter the details for each additional guest.

To Assign Additional Guests:

  • Enter the guest's name and required details

  • Save your changes

Once assigned:

  • Each guest will receive their ticket via email

  • The ticket will also appear in their Discover account (if they have or create a Circolo account)

Assigning guest details ensures every attendee receives their own ticket and QR code for entry.

Viewing Your Order History

You can access Order History from the navigation bar at the top of the Discover Events Portal.

Order History displays:

  • Current ticket orders

  • Previous ticket purchases

This allows you to keep track of all tickets purchased through your account.

The Attendee Portal provides a simple and secure way to discover events, purchase tickets, and manage your bookings.

Using the portal, attendees can:

  • Browse public events

  • Purchase tickets online

  • Access tickets from any device

  • Transfer tickets when required
