My Spencer won't connect to my Wi-Fi network

If Spencer is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check your network: Spencer supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only β€” it cannot connect to 5 GHz networks. Make sure your router has a 2.4 GHz band enabled.

  2. Check the password: Re-enter your Wi-Fi password carefully. Special characters can sometimes cause issues.

  3. Move closer to the router: Spencer's antenna is small β€” try placing it within a few meters of your router during setup.

  4. Restart Spencer: Power off, wait 10 seconds, and power back on.

  5. Restart your router: Sometimes the router itself needs a fresh start.

If none of these work, email us at contact@circuitmess.com with a description of what happens when you try to connect.
