Integrating Social accounts

This video covers the functionality outlined in this guide:

Before integrating LinkedIn, ensure you have Super User permissions within the Social tab of CisionOne Social. Without these permissions, the integration option will not be available.

Connecting your Social Accounts

First, we'll need to be in the Social part of CisionOne. Ensure that you are accessing the Social section specifically, as integration options are not available from other areas of the platform.

Click on your initials in the top left corner and select Organisation.

If you do not see the Integration option, verify that you have Super User permissions within the Social tab. Contact your administrator if permissions need to be updated.

The Organisation screen has an Integrations tab. This tab contains the Connect Page buttons for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram X/Twitter and TikTok.

Click on Connect Page and follow the on-screen prompts.

Managing Social Accounts

To manage your connected social accounts:

  • Integrations added for each social media platform can be managed via the “Manage Integrations” button.

  • In order to refresh existing integrations or add new integrations, use the “Update Integrations” button available at the bottom of the Manage Integrations popup.

Upon using the “Update Integrations” button, the authentication process will have to be followed as usual. After successful authentication, you will be presented with two options: the first is to refresh existing accounts and the second to add any new accounts found.

If you encounter issues during the integration process, ensure that all prerequisites are met, including having the necessary permissions and accessing the correct section. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully and retry if needed.
