The Citera app is organized around a few main areas. Each has a built-in guided tour you can replay from the Tour button in the top bar.
Analytics
Four views on one page:
Organic traffic: active users, sessions, top channel, users from AI sources, clicks and impressions from Google Search Console, top pages and queries, countries, and which AI crawlers can reach your site. Requires Google Analytics 4 and/or Google Search Console to be connected.
AI visibility: your share of voice across tracked prompts, your strongest model, trends per model, the types of sites that get cited, the pages AI answers cite, and visitors arriving from AI assistants.
Map: visibility split by country.
Competitors: who wins each prompt and how each competitor performs overall.
Tip: AI visibility is most meaningful as a trend. Compare against earlier periods rather than judging a single reading.
Prompt Library
Manage your tracked prompts and see per-prompt results by model. Includes a Keywords view with Google and Bing search data when connected.
Calendar
Your content calendar. Citera plans topics from your tracked prompts, writes drafts about two days before they publish and publishes to your CMS. See Content calendar and blog autopilot.
Website
The website audit: an overall score for how well your site is set up for AI search, Technical and AEO sub-scores, and a list of pages with issues, worst first. See Website audit and on-page fixes.
Settings
Profile: name, password, Google sign-in, data export, account deletion
Billing: plan, payment details, invoices, cancellation
Brand Profile and Brand Settings: brand identity, market, competitors, authors, notifications
Knowledge Base: documents and standing instructions the AI uses when writing
Integrations: connect CMS, search, analytics and social tools
