Citera helps you share progress with your team, leadership or clients.

Email reports and alerts

Notifications are set per brand and are off by default. To opt in, open the brand's notification settings in Settings and switch on the ones you want, for example:

  • A weekly digest of what moved, sent on Mondays

  • A full PDF report after each scan

You can also set the recipient email. Citera asks you to confirm a new recipient address before reports are sent there.

Shareable report links

You can share a report with someone who doesn't have a Citera login using a share link. Links can be password protected and can expire. If a link has expired, ask the sender to generate a new one.

Exporting data

  • Prompt Library: export your prompts as CSV.

  • Visibility data: export options depend on your plan. Scale adds report generation, and Custom adds white-label reports and custom export formats. See the pricing page for current details.

  • Your account data: download a JSON file of everything Citera holds about your account from Settings → Profile → Export my data.

Tips for useful reports

  • State the scope: period, prompt set, market, language, competitors and models.

  • Keep mentions, recommendations, citations and website visits separate. A mention is not a visit, and a visit is not a conversion.

  • Pair trends with a few real answer examples.

  • List completed work and next actions, and separate recommended, in-review and published work.

  • Remove confidential information before sharing externally.
