After you cancel

Your plan stays active until the end of your billing period. After it ends, your data is kept for 30 days and can be exported before it is deleted.

Export your data first

  • Account data: go to Settings → Profile → Export my data to download a JSON file of everything Citera holds about your account.

  • Prompts: export your Prompt Library as a CSV.

  • Visibility data and reports: use the export and report options on your plan.

Content you've published

Content already published to your website or CMS stays there. Disconnecting an integration or cancelling doesn't remove posts from your site. Content lives on your own systems, so you remove it there if you want to.

Deleting everything right away

To delete your account and all data immediately, go to Settings → Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, all brands, scans, reports and connected integrations, and cannot be undone. See Exporting your data and deleting your account.

Unpaid accounts

If an account is locked because a payment couldn't be collected, the billing issue screen shows the date when the account and its data are scheduled for deletion.
