If your site's code lives in a GitHub repository, Citera can publish blog posts as pull requests you review and merge. This also works for sites built with Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, v0, Base44, Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT, as long as the project is backed by a GitHub repo.
Connect
Select the brand in the sidebar.
Go to Settings → Integrations and choose GitHub (or the builder you use).
Install the Citera GitHub App on your GitHub account and grant access to the repository.
Back in Citera, choose the publish target repository for this brand.
Set where blog posts live: the folder that holds your blog content. You can click I don't know, find it for me, or leave it empty and the first pull request will set up a blog for you.
Until a repository is chosen, nothing can publish and the calendar shows Connect a CMS.
How publishing works
When a post is ready to publish, Citera opens a pull request with the post in your repository. Merge it to put the post live.
Disconnecting
Unlinking stops Citera from publishing to that repository. The GitHub App stays installed on your GitHub account until you remove it in GitHub's settings.
