Connecting search and analytics data lets Citera show whether AI visibility work also contributes to traffic, and powers the Organic traffic view and the Keywords view. These connections are available on all plans.
Google Search Console
Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console.
Sign in with a Google account that has access to your Search Console property.
Choose the property to sync.
You'll see daily clicks, impressions, queries and average position. The first sync runs within a few minutes, or run it right away from the integration.
Google Analytics 4
Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics 4.
Sign in with a Google account that has access to your GA4 property and choose the property.
You'll see active users, sessions, channels, top pages and users from AI sources (visitors from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude).
Bing Webmaster
Add and verify your site in Bing Webmaster Tools.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Bing Webmaster and authorize access.
Choose which Bing Webmaster site to sync.
With Submit new posts to Bing on, every blog post Citera publishes is sent to Bing for crawling automatically.
Tips
Use accounts with access to the right property. If sync fails, check the connection and try again.
The Keywords view needs Bing Webmaster or Google Search Console, and works with both.
Disconnecting stops syncing; you can reconnect anytime.
