What items can I put in my recycling container?

These items can be placed in the recycling container:

  • Glass food and beverage bottles and jars (green, brown and clear colors)

  • Newspaper (including all advertising inserts)

  • Plastic PETE Number 1 and HDPE Number 2 (two liter soda bottles and milk and juice containers)

Look for the numbers (1) and (2) within the recycling arrows on the bottom of the container. Aluminum, Steel and Tin food and beverage cans.
