Yes. Grass clippings should be left on the lawn. They provide valuable nutrients to the soil. Leaves can be used as mulch in flowerbeds and around trees, or consider beginning a back yard compost project. 

Residents may also bring yard waste to the Waste Management / City brush site located at 12950 40th Street. This site is open Sunday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Proof of residency is required. This site is available to Pinellas Park residents for free disposal of yard waste only. You may be required to produce a utility bill to show that you pay for garbage service to the City. Free mulch is available to residents. Please bring your own shovel and container and take as much as you like. Commercial use of the brush site for free disposal is not permitted.
