The time it takes to send crypto depends on which type of transaction you make and which network you use.
Here’s how it works:
Between CityPay users (Off-chain transactions)
These transfers are instant and free of charge.
The funds appear in the recipient’s wallet immediately after you confirm the transaction.
To an external wallet (On-chain transactions)
These transfers are processed through the blockchain network and require network confirmations.
The confirmation time depends on the network load.
Usually, it takes from a few seconds to several minutes, but during high network activity it may take longer.
⚠️ If you want to obtain the TxID (transaction hash) or check the transaction status, open the crypto-wallet in the Paynet app, go to the transaction history for the relevant crypto-asset, and select the required transaction to view its details.
