My Crypto Wallet is Blocked

Обновлено более месяца назад

If your crypto wallet is blocked, it means our system has detected high-risk or suspicious activity.
This can include transactions related to gambling, unverified or suspicious wallets, or non-compliant platforms.

CityPay is a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) and follows strict AML/CFT regulations (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing).
To protect your funds and ensure full compliance with national and international financial standards, the system may automatically block wallets involved in risky activity.

Why your wallet may be blocked

  • Transactions linked to gambling or gaming platforms

  • Transfers to or from suspicious or unverified wallets

  • Activity associated with darknet or high-risk services

  • Repeated failed or restricted transactions

  • Attempts to bypass AML/CFT screening

What happens next

  • Your account is currently under compliance review.

  • Unblocking or refund, if applicable, may take up to 48 hours (2 business days).

  • Unblocking is not guaranteed and depends on the review outcome and the nature of previous transactions.

How to avoid future blocks

  • Use trusted and verified wallets for all transactions.

  • Avoid risky, gambling-related, or unverified platforms.

  • Keep all operations transparent and legal.

  • Respond promptly if CityPay’s Compliance team requests additional information.
