Creating A Custom Promotion

Custom Promotion

Written by Emy Thornton

What is a Custom Promotion?

Custom Promotions allow you to create and sell your own promotional products directly through your portal's CitySpark Promotions page. They appear alongside CitySpark's built-in promotions and can be positioned anywhere in the promotions list using the Sort Order setting.

Custom Promotions are a flexible way to offer advertising or marketing opportunities that are unique to your organization. Common examples include:

  • Guaranteed print placement

  • Guaranteed newsletter inclusion

  • Marketing packages

  • Social media promotions

  • Featured listings

  • Custom advertising packages

Each Custom Promotion can be customized with its own pricing, description, purchase instructions, fulfillment settings, and inventory options, giving you complete control over how the promotion is presented and sold.

Auto Apply Labels: If you put a label in this field, then when that custom promotion is purchased it will be automatically applied to the event.
