How do I book a class?

Classes can be booked by filling in the form on this page, or by calling our Customer Experience Team on 1300 692 484. If there is availability, you will receive a booking confirmation by email with a link to your class. You will need this to join the class.

How much do classes cost?

If you are already a Civic client, receiving centre-based activities, supported accommodation or supported employment, there is currently no additional charge to access these classes. If you are not an existing Civic client, classes are charged according to the Assistance with Social and Community Participation price guide. You will be sent a quote to confirm prior to booking.

How do I access the live classes?

To access the live classes, you will need to open the link in your booking confirmation.  This will open up the meeting in Zoom. The meeting will start when the host joins the meeting, at the time indicated in the timetable. Some classes may need you enter the meeting ID. This is also included in the booking confirmation.

I've lost my booking confirmation. Can you send me a new one?
Yes. Just call us on 1300 692484 or email us on enquiries@civic.org.au and we'll send you a new booking confirmation to ensure you can access your class.

The Zoom link to my class doesn't work. What's going on?
Sometimes, we need to update the Zoom link to your class. In this case, we will send you a new booking confirmation. Check your inbox for a more recent link, and use this one to access the class.

How do I view the class on a large screen, like a TV?

If you are accessing the class via your computer browser, you can connect your computer to your TV using an HDMI cable, if your computer has an HDMI port.

If you have a Chromecast device in your home, you can use this to display the class on your TV. Simply open the class link using your Chrome browser, then click More, then Cast in the top right of your browser. If your Chromecast device is already connected, the class will replace what’s on your TV automatically.

Do I need an ipad to access the classes?

You can access the classes on any device connected to the internet. You can access the classes via smart phones, desktop computers and tablets such as ipads.

I’m not able to attend the class. Do I need to let you know?

Yes. Please let our team know by calling 1300 692 484 or by emailing enquiries@civic.org.au. Please let us know if you are planning to miss just one class, or no longer want to attend any classes.
