The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount you are allowed to lose in a single trading day. It is calculated using the higher value between your account balance and equity at the start of the trading day. Breaching this rule is a hard violation and will result in account closure.

For 2 Step accounts: Daily Loss Limit = 4% of the higher value between starting balance or equity.

Example 1 – Higher Equity:
Balance: $102,000
Equity: $104,000
Daily loss limit is based on $104,000, meaning your equity must not fall below $100,000 during the day.

Example 2 – Higher Balance:
Balance: $100,000
Equity: $98,000
Daily loss limit is based on $100,000, meaning your equity must not fall below $96,000 during the day.

Important notes:

  • Both floating and closed PnL count toward the daily loss limit.

  • Equity must never touch or go below the limit at any point during the day.

  • The Daily Loss Limit resets at 22:00 Server Time (GMT).

  • You can check the reset timer anytime on your CK Capital dashboard.
