Claap's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server connects your Claap data directly to Claude.ai. Once connected, you can ask Claude about your meeting recordings, contacts, companies and deals, and it retrieves the relevant data from your workspace to answer.

Before you start
An active Claap account on a paid plan (Pro, Business or Enterprise)
Access to Claude.ai
Meeting recordings, contacts or deal data in your Claap workspace
Permission within your Claap workspace to query the data you need
You are signed in to Claap at app.claap.io in the same browser
Open your Claude.ai connectors
Open Claude.ai in your browser
Open Settings
Click Connectors
Find Claap in the directory
Click Add, then Browse connectors
Type Claap in the search field
Click the Claap result

Connect and authorise
Click Connect
You are redirected to a Claap authorisation page
A window appears stating that Claude AI is requesting access to your Claap account, this grants Claude access to your Claap identity and workspace resources
Click Authorize
Check the connection
Back in Settings âș Connectors, Claap now shows as Connected.
That's it. You can start asking Claude about your Claap data straight away.
Connecting manually
If Claap doesn't appear in your directory, or you are setting up Claude Desktop or Claude Code, you can add the server by hand:
In Connectors, click Add âș Add custom connector
Give it a name, for example Claap
In Remote MCP server URL, enter:
https://api.claap.io/mcpClick Add, then Connect and follow the authorisation steps above
What Claude can do once connected
The Claap MCP server gives Claude access to:
List Workspaces : every Claap workspace you have access to
Search Companies : company records in your workspace
Search Contacts : internal and external contacts
Search Deals : your deals, with filters and sorting
Search Meeting Recordings : semantic or keyword search across your transcripts
Ask Claude a question and it picks the right tool on its own. For example:
Show me my recent meeting recordings about the Q4 project
Find contacts from ABC Company
What deals are currently in the negotiation stage?
Search for meetings where competitors were mentioned

Authorisation page won't load | Clear your browser cache and cookies, and confirm you are signed in to the right Claap account |
Connected, but queries return nothing | Check your Claap plan is Pro, Business or Enterprise, and that your workspace actually holds the data you're asking about |
Results look stale or incomplete | Disconnect and reconnect the integration |
