Guests are required to sign in and when added to your topics or claaps, can collaborate with many features.
Why invite guests?
Invite guests to work on one or more claaps for long-term projects without needing to invite them to the workspace and give them access to all your topics and claaps.
If you invite guests, you no longer have to share claaps and topics publicly, to enhance your confidentiality and security policies.
To invite guests to a claap or topic:
Click on the Share button at the top right of the topic or claap screen.
Enter the email address of the guest and click Invite.
The invited guest will receive an email with a link to the topic or claap.
If they don't already use Claap, they can sign up to access your page.
Guests have limited collaborative permissions:
They don’t have workspace-wide access. They can only see and collaborate on the topics and claaps they have been invited in.
They can't create new topics or claaps.
They can’t edit or delete topics or claaps.
They can't edit workspace settings.
They can't see or add members to the workspace.
On the other side, they can:
They can see claaps and topics where they have been invited.
They can comment on these resources.
