Overview

Our GitHub integration is perfect to add more context to your Pull Request.

You can detail the approach you've chosen or highlight specific areas in your changes with a code walkthrough. Instead of typing long, often cumbersome text descriptions, you can record a claap directly from the PR and add it to the discussion.

It's also a good way to showcase before/after performance improvements, UX/UI changes, or to make a summary after a PR back-and-forth. Add a claap recap to the PR for future reference.

Similarly, as a reviewer of a PR, it’s also easier to use a claap to highlight specific concerns or issues found.

How it works

  1. Open the Chrome extension to ensure you have the Enable website integrations option turned on:

  2. Open a Pull Request

  3. Claap’s button is placed at the bottom of the screen

You can activate or deactivate Claap embed modes directly from your Chrome extension. Click on the setting icon and toggle those options on/off:
