User Cards: Card Collection & Battle Deck

Players have two separate card areas in Clash5: the Card Collection and the Battle Deck. These serve different purposes and are independent from each other.

Your Card Collection shows all cards you own, while your Battle Deck is the group of cards used in daily clashes and tournaments.

Card Collection

The Card Collection is where players can view every card they own.

Each card in the collection displays:

  • The card’s current level

  • A progress bar toward the next level

  • The number of duplicate cards needed to level up

For example, if a card is shown as Level 1 with progress 1 / 2, that means the player needs 2 total cards of that type to upgrade it to Level 2.

When a player receives another copy of the same card from any source, progress is automatically added. Once the required number is reached, the card automatically levels up and the new level is shown on the card.

Players can earn or receive cards through:

  • Bonuses

  • Purchases

  • Card payouts

  • Continued platform activity

There are roughly 154 cards in the full platform catalog, and players can continue growing their collection over time.

Battle Deck

The Battle Deck is the set of cards used in daily clashes and tournaments.

When a player registers, they automatically receive a starter Battle Deck with 5 default Common cards.

Players can:

  • Swap cards in and out of their Battle Deck

  • Reorder cards based on power

  • Build a stronger lineup as they collect and level up cards

Only the cards placed in the Battle Deck are used for battles.

Important Difference

The Card Collection does not directly affect battle outcomes.

Owning more cards in the collection does not make a player stronger unless those cards are added to the Battle Deck or used to level up cards that are already in the deck.

In simple terms:

Card Collection = all cards owned
Battle Deck = cards used in battle

To improve battle performance, players should focus on upgrading cards and making sure their strongest cards are placed in their Battle Deck.
