A Clash is a head-to-head battle between two players. Each clash uses the player’s Battle Deck, which contains 5 cards, and the matchup is resolved across 5 rounds.
Each round compares one card from each player’s deck. The result of each round affects the player’s rating, which is used to determine leaderboard placement in daily tournaments.
How a Clash Works
Each clash includes:
Player 1: 5 Battle Deck cards
Player 2: 5 Battle Deck cards
Total Rounds: 5
Each round matches one card against one card. After all 5 rounds are completed, the player’s rating is updated based on the results.
Automatic Clashes
Every day, each user participates in roughly 10 automatic clashes.
These automatic clashes count toward the player’s Daily Tournament leaderboard ranking.
Automatic clashes are handled by the system, so players do not need to manually start them in order to participate in the daily tournament.
Manual Battles
Players can also start battles manually.
Manual battle difficulty options include:
Easy
Medium
Hard
There is currently no daily limit on manual battles.
Manual battles allow players to keep playing and testing their Battle Deck outside of the automatic daily tournament clashes.
Round Resolution Rules
Each round is decided using a deterministic rule chain. This means the system follows a fixed order of rules to determine the winner.
There is no separate attack or defense phase. Instead, each round is evaluated in the following priority order:
1. Attack
The card with the higher Attack value wins the round.
2. Defense
If both cards have the same Attack value, the card with the higher Defense value wins the round.
3. Team Synergy
If both Attack and Defense are tied, the system compares the total Defense value across all 5 cards in each player’s Battle Deck.
The player with the higher total team Defense wins the round.
4. Coin Flip
If Attack, Defense, and Team Synergy are all tied, the round is decided by a coin flip.
This only happens in rare cases where both players have completely equal values under the previous rules.
Rating System
Every player has a rating that increases or decreases based on battle results.
The rating change is influenced by:
The strength of the player’s cards
The strength of the opponent’s cards
The result of each round
The rating formula settings
Default rating settings:
Variable | Default Value |
Start Rating | 500 |
K Factor | 10 |
Division Factor | 400 |
Players begin with a default rating of 500. As clashes are completed, their rating moves up or down based on the outcome of each round.
Leaderboard Ranking
Each Daily Tournament leaderboard is ranked by rating.
After the day’s clashes are resolved, players are ranked in descending order, meaning the players with the highest ratings appear at the top of the leaderboard.
Key Takeaway
Clashes are decided by card strength, deck composition, and round-by-round results.
To improve leaderboard performance, players should focus on:
Using stronger cards in their Battle Deck
Leveling up cards to improve Attack and Defense
Building a balanced deck with strong overall team Defense
Participating consistently in daily tournaments and battles
