Thank you for your interest in working as a cleaner in Queensland Department of Education schools in the South East region of Queensland.

In order to apply, you need to have the following documents ready and on hand to progress through the application process.

Documents you will need to apply

  • Your Blue Card (Working with Children Check) if you have one. If you don't have one, you can apply and pay for it here.

  • Your birth certificate or passport.

  • Criminal History Consent Form, signed and scanned complete with a witness signature. Download the form here.

  • Identification Documents. 2 Primary Identification Documents OR 1 Primary and 1 Secondary Identification Documents.

    Primary identification documents are: birth certificate, citizenship certificate, current Australian or overseas passport, current Department of Immigration and Citizenship travel document, current driver’s license, or current proof of age card.

    Secondary identification documents are: Medicare card, pensioner concession card, financial institution cards or statements, student identification cards issued by an Australian educational institutional or recent notice of assessment issued under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cth).

If you are not an Australian or New Zealand Citizen

  • You will need your Australian Citizenship Certificate, Passport, or Full Visa documentation ready to upload.
