You will only need to do this once. If you have previously created classes and are looking to create your new classes for the new time period, find out how to do that here.

When creating classes, this is where you will tell Class Manager the details of the class such as who is teaching, the venue it is being held, the dates the class is running and set up the cost.

First of all, you will need to make sure that you have created your season. This is essentially the folder that will run for your billing time period that will contain your classes. Find out how to create your first season here.

Head to 'Classes' and 'Create'. This is the page where you will need to add all the core details relating to the class:

Basic Information

Firstly, on the left, you will need to add the class basic information. Name, description, venue and the staff member that is teaching. Make sure you have created your staff and venues on your account before this step, that way they will appear in your dropdown.

Customize your classes by adding class colors in your class settings.

Scheduling the Class

Under the 'Start and end times', this is where you will need to put the upcoming dates that you want to be billing the customer for. This is how Class Manager knows whether to bill them for a term, semester, month etc.
Select how often the class is happening over that period under 'Occurrence' eg. Weekly. And the 'Day/s' of the week that it is happening.

*If this class happens twice a week you have the option here to add 2 days of the week. Bear in mind this class will be assigned one list of students and one cost so if the additional class that week has different students attending and there is an additional cost you will need to create a separate class*

Assigning the Cost

You have 3 options at this stage:

Termly cost - If you give your customers 1 fee for the period of time you have set up regardless of the number of days/weeks, you would add your cost and make sure you have your 'Frequency' set to 'Term'.

Lesson cost - If you give your customers a lesson cost and times that by the number of weeks that run over the chosen period, you would add your lesson cost and make sure you have your 'Frequency' set to 'Lesson'. This option will do the maths for you and add up the number of lessons across your chosen time period and give the customer the total on the invoice.

Weekly Cost - If you give your customers a weekly cost and times that by the number of weeks that run over the chosen period, you would add your weekly cost and make sure you have your 'Frequency' set to 'Week'. This option will do the maths for you and add up the number of weeks across your chosen time period and give the customer the total on the invoice.

At this stage, you can also add a 'registration fee'. *I would advise this is for this specific class, not the term/month/initial registration to the school.* This will be added to the invoice under this classes billing info.

Please note: the registration fee is taken once per student in the booking.
You can assign your 'Capacity' to a class, this way you can keep track as to whether you are close to full. You have full visibility of this on your 'Calendar'.
Lastly, you have the option to add 'Discounts' to your classes in your settings, make sure here you have selected whether you would like this class to opt-in or out of those discounts you set up.

Next, you will need to make sure you head to 'Lesson Setup' to Create your lesson for this class.

You can also open online class enrolments for these classes on the portal after you have created them. Find out how to do that here.
