ClassTag understands the teacher’s needs of being able to organize and manage the files they send to parents. To respond to this need, ClassTag introduced a new feature in the Library tab that will allow teachers to create folders.
To create a folder in the Library, simply go to the “Library” tab of your class and click “Create New Folder”.
Type the “Name” and “Description” of the folder, then click the “Create” button.
After you create the folder, click on it and start adding the files by clicking “click here” and choosing for the file from your computer or mobile device OR simply dragging and dropping the files (using a computer only).
Once the files have been uploaded, click the “Save” button.
The files now are added at the bottom of the page.
If there is a need to rename or remove the folder, click the three dots on the right side of the folder.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Removing the folder will delete all the files from that folder.
The same functionality is available in each student’s Backpack. To add a folder, click the “Backpacks” tab of the Library then click the specific student’s backpack.
After you open the student’s backpack, the option to create a folder will show up.
NOTE: Creating folders in the “Activities” tab is not available.
