SchoolStatus Connect introduces a new feature to record non-SchoolStatus Connect interactions with parents. You can do this by following the steps below.

1. Go to your Class Directory and click the student's name.

2. Click the notepad button.

4. Click “Add New” on the upper right corner.

5. Fill out the form and click “Create.”

Student - the student's name cannot be changed and will have the name of the student you selected from the Directory.

Mode of interaction - you can select how this interaction happened: Phone call, Video Call, Messaging, In-person, and Other. Click the drop-down and select the type of interaction you’ve had with the parent.

Date - the date when the interaction happened. Click the Date field and select the date on the calendar pop-up. You can also directly type the date on the field with the same format shown in the photo.

Time - the time when it happened (not required). Click the Time field and adjust the time with the up and down buttons. You can also type the time manually on the field following the same format on the photo.

Notes - important things to note about this interaction. The character limit is 15,000.

1. Go to your Class Directory.

2. Click the student’s name.

3. Click the notepad button.

4. Click the log that you wish to view and/or edit.

5. Click the three dots on the right side.

6. Click “Edit.”

7. After finishing, click “Save”.
