Lenders (like us) generally check three things when we decide whether we can lend to you or not. One or more of these could be the reason we’re not able to lend to you.
Eligibility - if you’ve not met our initial criteria then you’re not eligible to borrow from us. You need to be over 18 years old, have a minimum annual income (before tax) of £12,000, be earning an income from employment or a pension and have a bank or building society account with a Direct Debit facility.
Our Policy - All lenders have their own criteria for who they lend money to. These are in place to ensure we lend responsibly and we can’t share details about them.
Your Credit File - It may be the case that something on your credit file has caused us to decline your application. The Credit Reference Agency we use is TransUnion. It’s important to check your credit file regularly. You can check the information we received from TransUnion by visiting www.transunion.co.uk and selecting ‘Statutory Credit Report’. You can raise a query with them if there’s anything on there you don’t agree with at www.transunion.co.uk/consumer/consumer-enquiries. You can call them on 0330 024 7574, email at UKConsumer@transunion.com, or write to them at TransUnion Consumer Services Team, PO Box 647, Unit 4, Hull HU9 9QZ.
If you wish to apply again with Kravings and you believe your circumstances will change, it’s best to leave it at least 3 months.
