Put a signal on an account

Choose which accounts trade a signal, change an agent's instrument or size, and take a signal off an account again.

An agent is one signal on one account. A signal can go on any number of accounts, each with its own instrument and size, and there is no limit on how many agents you have. Signals from channels you have joined are listed already. For your own TradingView alerts, first create a signal.

Put it on accounts

  1. In Automation, open Signals: the tab on a phone, the switch at the top of the left column on a desktop.

  2. Open the signal.

  3. Set the size under New accounts start with. On a desktop you can choose the instrument there too, and × or =.

  4. Under Accounts, tick each account that should trade it. It is added at that size and switched on straight away.

A new agent starts on the micro when the signal offers one, so your own signals start on MNQ unless you choose another. A leader account, traded by hand, takes no agents: it says leads a signal, or is a leader on a desktop.

You can also start from an account, with + Add from Signals on a phone or + Add agent on a desktop, or from an empty cell of the Matrix. Choose the Signal if asked, and press CREATE AGENT.

Change one

  1. Press the agent's size, such as MNQ ×1, on the signal's page. From an account, press the agent on a phone, or Edit on a desktop.

  2. Change the Instrument or the Sizing, or switch Armed off.

  3. Press SAVE CHANGES. It applies from the next signal.

On the Matrix, hold an agent's tile to switch it on or off without opening anything. Once your service has taken it, the tile says Armed or Disarmed for a moment.

Change the instrument while the agent is flat: once you do, a position it holds is no longer the agent's. An agent in a group that shares its trades can only change its sizing.

Indicators need an exit

An indicator's alert only says buy or sell, so an agent on one needs a Take profit and a Stop loss, as a distance in pts, ticks or $ per contract, before it can switch on. Fill them in under New accounts start with, and each account you tick switches on. If the signal has Dynamic TP and SL, each alert brings its own levels instead, and an alert without them is not traded.

Take it off

Untick the account on the signal's page. That doesn't remove an agent that holds a position, so flatten it first. Delete agent, under More in the agent's editor, deletes it at once, even in a trade, and the position stays open with nothing managing it.
