The ISF (importer security filing) also known as a "10+2" should be filed 48 hours prior to your ship leaving the port of origin. While it is possible to file your ISF late, you can be subject to fines by CBP.

In order to file your ISF, Clearit needs the following:

  • Completed ISF file

  • Bill of lading

You can find a link to an ISF template here

Once you have your Bill of lading and completed ISF form on hand, simply add the documents to your Customs Clearance service ticket.
